Earlier this month, A+A Wellness had the opportunity to participate in an event that perfectly reflects our philosophy of looking beyond symptoms and understanding the deeper story behind health challenges.
On June 6, Alex presented at the annual Georgia State Clinic hosted by the National Strength and Conditioning Association at Kennesaw State University.
The conference brought together more than 120 professionals, including physical therapists, strength and conditioning coaches, exercise science graduates, educators, researchers, and health professionals from across Georgia.
While the presentation focused on sports performance and injury prevention, the lessons shared have important applications for anyone interested in improving their health and wellness.

Have you ever gone to bed at a reasonable hour, slept through the night, and still woken up feeling exhausted?
If so, you’re not alone.
In fact, one of the most common concerns we hear from clients at A+A Wellness is:
“I’m sleeping enough, but I still don’t have any energy.”
Many people assume that fatigue simply means they need more sleep. While quality sleep is incredibly important, it is only one piece of the energy puzzle.
If you’re consistently waking up tired despite getting seven, eight, or even nine hours of sleep, your body may be trying to tell you something deeper.

One of the most emotional moments we experience at A+A Wellness is hearing a client say:
“Now this finally makes sense.”
Not because everything changes overnight, but because for the first time, they begin to understand why they have been feeling the way they do.
The fatigue finally connects.
The cravings make sense.
The bloating, brain fog, inflammation, poor sleep, stubborn weight, and energy crashes stop feeling like random, unrelated problems.
And for many people, that kind of clarity feels like a huge relief.

As Memorial Day approaches, many people look forward to cookouts, long weekends, and the unofficial start of summer. But at its heart, Memorial Day is something much deeper.
It is a day of remembrance.
A day to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country and to reflect on the freedoms their sacrifice helped protect.
At A+A Wellness, this holiday serves as an important reminder to slow down, appreciate the moments we often take for granted, and spend meaningful time with the people we love most.

When most people hear the phrase gut health, they immediately think of digestion. Bloating after meals. Constipation. Diarrhea. Acid reflux. Gas. While these symptoms are certainly important, they represent only a small part of the story.
Your gut is one of the most influential systems in your body. It plays a critical role in immune function, energy production, hormone balance, mood regulation, inflammation control, nutrient absorption, and even mental clarity.
